When it comes to CeCe Winans, it's hard to pick a favorite song. With a solo career that spans more than a decade (She released her first solo album "Alone in His Presence" way back in 1995), CeCe has given the gospel community and fans around the world some pretty memorable hits.

EEWMagazine.com Buzz editors (along with the rest of the world) know Christian actress, Kim Fields, for one role.
Tootie... on the facts of Life.
How could we forget right?
But now, she's all "growed" up and gearing up for a new BET reality show called, Lens on Talent.
In a recent interview on the Yolanda Adams Morning Show, where she stopped by to promote the series, Fields revealed that she listens to the show daily, and "blows up" Yolanda's phone regularly. Go figure.
And Yolanda reveals that Fields' mother serves as her acting coach.
Small world.
The two exchanged pleasantries and talked about how grateful they are for each other's friendship. You can check out the full audio here.
A bejeweled Juanita Bynum stepped out on the red carpet yesterday at the Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards where she was honored with the Thomas A. Dorsey Award for her contributions in gospel music.
Donning a long black dress, and a pink jeweled clutch to add a pop of color, Bynum, a recording artist and pastor of "The Warehouse" in Atlanta, entered the beautiful Georgia World Congress Center where Atlanta's finest participated in the celebration.
Mixed in with honorees and attendees were members of the press on the look-out for Bishop Eddie Long, a past honoree, who did not attend this year's events. According to reports, pastors called for prayer for Bishop Eddie Long and the New Birth church family.
EEWMagazine.com Buzz blog editors watched yesterday as NBC's Matt Lauer had a chat with President Obama live from the White House. The two discussed the important topic of education and where America has gone wrong.
Gravely wrong.
It's hard to argue against the fact that the system needs an overhaul, and that our kids are lagging behind other nations. According to Mr. President, more school is exactly what American kids need, noting that U.S. students attend classes, on average, about a month less than children in most other advanced countries.
President Obama said:
"That month makes a difference. It means students are losing a lot of what they learn during the school year during the summer ... The idea of a longer school year, I think, makes sense," Obama said. "Now, that's going to cost some money ..., but I think that would be money well spent."

Bishop TD Jakes takes to the podium at the Potter's House in Dallas to speak out about the allegations against Bishop Eddie Long. The EEWMagazine.com Buzz editors agree with him wholeheartedly in his commentary.
Bishop Jakes said, "Just pray," and "There's nothing to say." Watch the entire "statement" if you will, below:
EEWMagazine.com Buzz Editors, along with many other media outlets, listened intently as Bishop Eddie Long walked up to the podium for his scheduled press conference. During morning worship service at New Birth in Atlanta, Long vowed to fight the charges against him. "I'm not a perfect man," he said more than once, but he claims he is also not the man being portrayed in the media.
In what we're calling a "non-statement" to the press immediately following AM worship, Long neither confirmed nor denied that he was guilty of engaging in sexual acts with young men. While under such intense scrutiny, one might think Bishop Long would be eager to tell his side of the story. But instead, during the highly anticipated press conference, he did not address the allegations at all (stating that his counsel had advised him not to).
According to Long, he will fight "vigorously" in court, and does not wish to be tried in the court of public opinion. But he has been, and is continuing to be.
Many were hoping he would have said a bit more in his defense to the media, because a failure to personally deny everything, is often viewed as a subtle admission of guilt.
From his comments, despite several reports to the contrary, it does not appear that that the Georgia pastor will be stepping down from his role.

Yolanda Adams, Beverly Crawford and Vanessa Bell Armstrong are headlining Gospel Music Heritage Month’s Celebration event today a 7 pm at the New Light Church in Houston, TX where Bishop I.V. Hilliard, host pastor.

First designated by the US Congress in 2008, September is Gospel Music Heritage Month and is a celebration of Gospel music’s valuable and long-standing contributions to American culture.
Nice. Somebody is about to be having some church!
EEWMagazine.com Buzz editors have just caught wind of a developing story. The Associated Press is reporting a fourth young man has come out saying Bishop Eddie Long coerced him into a sexual relationship. Attorney B.J. Bernstein is filing a lawsuit today on behalf of Spencer LeGrande, a member of New Birth Charlotte, which is a satellite church run by Long.
According to LeGrande, he met the Bishop in May 2005.
The lawsuit said Long told him "I will be your dad" and invited the 17-year-old to take a trip to Kenya with him in July 2005 where the two engaged in sexual acts.
It said that Long later encouraged him to move to Atlanta, where the activity continued until early 2009.
Bishop Long is scheduled to address the claims against him on Sunday at New Birth in Atlanta.
Developing...
Atlanta supporters of Karen Clark Sheard, stand up! Did you know the baby sister of the legendary Clark Sisters, is in town with the cast of the urban play "Church Girl"? Yep. And she'll be in the ATL until September 26.
So if you haven't checked out the show just yet, you still have time left.
